Strömsund Hostel offers the perfect accommodation for those traveling along Europe road 45 through Jämtland. The hostel is located in the center of the village Tullingsås with a nice view of the lake Ströms Vattudal. Here you can easily take an evening stroll after the car trip or maybe a walk down to the bird tower at Lillsjön.

Only 5 kilometers to Strömsund city center. There you will find supermarkets, restaurants, etc.

Maybe you are heading towards Vildmarksvägen, wildernessroad? It starts in Strömsund and takes you over the bare mountain, Stekenjokk, near the Norwegian border. When you travel by train, SJ, the closest train station is in Östersund. From there you go by bus to Strömsund.

The train called "Inlandsbanan" from Kristinehamn and Gällivare goes through Strömsund during the summer. Get off at Ulriksfors station, and from there it’s a 10-kilometre ride with a taxi Taxi Strömsund, 0046 70-100 63 to the hostel. We can also arrange to pick you up at Ulriksfors.
